Ubuntu no space left on ubuntu--vg-ubuntu-lv

ubuntu--vg-ubuntu-lv is the default logical volume created during Ubuntu installation using LVM. If you encounter a "no space left" error on this volume, you can extend it by following these steps:

check space

sh
df -h

Extend Logical Volume

sh
sudo lvm
lvextend -l +100%FREE /dev/ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv
exit
resize2fs /dev/ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv

recheck space

sh
df -h

This will extend the logical volume to use all available free space in the volume group and resize the filesystem accordingly.
